FAQ

Because of the high quality of this audio app, comprising narration, music and special effects, it has a large data content. We therefore recommend that you download the audio fragments when connected to a stable WIFI Network, so that you can listen to them offline.

You can delete and download the content again at your convenience, without further charges. Availability offline avoids high roaming costs when using the app abroad. For optimal sound quality bring your own in-ear headphones.

Technical

The audio guide / river section download does not work properly and seems to be taking a very long time?

Due to the amount of data and / or weak Internet connection the download can take a while. Make sure you have a stable Internet connection.

Can I reload the guide?

You can delete the audio guide / river section by choosing delete audio guide. The system remembers you purchases and you can reload the data without further charges whenever you want. All other data can only be accessed when connected to a mobile data network or WIFI, but is relatively speaking very small in size compared to the audio guide data.

I deleted the audio guide / river section accidentally. How can I rectify this?

Any deleted data can be reloaded without further charge. Just press download guide data, but make sure you have a stable Internet connection. Alternatively by pressing the home button on the top left corner, you get back to the main menu. Here you can choose your river, scroll down and choose your "deleted" audio guide / section.  Your section / audio guide has a short summary, a view on map button, a download guide data button and a start guide button.

How do I save memory space on my device?

You can delete any audio guide / river section data and reload it without further charges any time you want.

The battery of my device is going down fast.

GPS on any cell phone uses a lot of power. To obtain a precise GPS position, it needs four or more satellites to triangulate a position. A GPS receiver needs to power its antenna, and constantly process the signal sent continuously by each transmitting satellite. GPS triggered Apps are energy consuming and deplete the battery very quickly. We recommend you charge them regularly or have a power pack at hand.

In which languages is the App available?

Unfortunately at this moment the audio is only available in English. But we are working on a multilingual version. Keep an eye on our website for future       developments.
